My name is Jat. I belong to the Sikh community of Punjab state in the hearts of India situated in the north bordering Pakistan. I grew up playing Field Hockey in my small village called “SANSARPUR” Punjab, India. FYI: Google it :)

After moving to Canada in 2000, played field hockey throughout Canada and the USA. My initial dream/goal was to play for Canada in field hockey that dream came true in 2005. I toured England with the Canadian national team where we tied the 5 match series with England first time ever in Canadian history. I had to quit hockey to make my living here in Canada so I chose home building where I learned the various norms of structural building schematics in Surrey.

I was hired at Shannon Falls Retirement residence in April 2021. I enjoy working here and I feel everyone here makes this place so special.

My name is Joseph but most people know me as Jon. I was born and raised in the Philippines and migrated to Canada with my family in July 2007.
 
When I was younger, I wanted to join the army after high school but when I came to Canada, I decided to go to college and become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) instead. I have been practicing as an LPN for over 13 years and have worked in different health care settings from home support to long-term care.
 
In February 2019, I took the new opportunity as a Care Manager / LPN at Shannon Falls Retirement Residence. It's been an awesome experience and I have been very happy working here, alongside our dedicated health care and support services staff members to provide care and support for our residents.
 
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, learning how to cook different cuisines at home, and eating good food.
 
I am very proud that we have overcome many difficult challenges when the COVID-19 pandemic started early last year and we are now slowly loosening up restrictions to be able to go back to normal. I look forward to making new memories here with my Shannon Falls family.

My name is Joyce Siggs and after graduating with a diploma in business management, I discovered my true love for the mountains.  Inspired by best friends who still ski and climb well into their 60s and 70s, I completed a diploma in therapeutic recreation (gerontology) through Stenberg College. 

I have one goal: master the art of aging.

I grew up swimming competitively and that's where I obtained a passion for health and fitness. To me, exercise means movement.  The ability to move symbolizes freedom.  Freedom equals fun.

I'm thankful each day that I'm surrounded by so many good people.

Lesley has been the Admin Assistant at Shannon Falls for the past 12 years. She's the smiling face that greets you at the front door and is always ready to answer any questions you may have. One of Lesley's passions is inviting potential new residents to tour our lovely home and to share all the great reasons why living at Shannon falls would enrich the rest of their retirement life. She treasures all the meaningful connections she has made with residents over the years and looks forward to getting to know the ones she is yet to meet.

Cindy Palmer was born and raised in North Vancouver, moved to Squamish in 2019. She is married with 3 kids Ava, Roan, and Nylah. She has been Instructing general and specialty fitness for 10 years. She has a world of knowledge and certifications in Common Movement Disorders such as Parkinson's, Arthritis, MS, 3rd generation, and Pre/Post Natal. She holds designations with BCRPA, CFES, WaterART Fitness International, and Surefeet Balance Mobility.

Her class history includes Inclusion, Cycle, Group Fitness, Stroke Rehab, Seniors Circuit, Pre/Post Natal, Rehabilitation, Neuro fit, Aquatic, and Land. In her spare time, she enjoys running and hiking the mountains, and spending time with her family.
